Align to local forces
Alternative title: A brief note on reassembling oneself in the waking world.
Tai-chi came first (well, one uncle's zealous & pedantic martial arts exercises) but I'm quite fortunate to have been under the guidance of two phenomenal dance instructors. Chief among its many uses is how "xi-gong" helps one better move in our shared existence. Similarly, dance includes insights & tactics for movement, alignment, & synchrony.
Jane Shockley has a brilliant exercise that she tends to begin every class with which, coupled with xi-gong, is my strong suggestion for aligning to one's local gravity & other Newtonian forces.
